Below are some common OneSync troubleshooting suggestions.
The Installer Won't Execute
Occasionally, Windows Defender (or other malware and virus scanning tools) may prevent the OneSync installer from executing. To work around this issue, please complete the following steps:
- Temporarily disable scanning or protection mode
- Run the OneSync installer
- Re-enable scanning or protection mode
Invalid Password Credentials
If an incorrect password is entered at the beginning of the OneSync installation process, that password will be used to configure your program. You can run the installer again in order to reconfigure the database.
If an incorrect password was entered during the creation of the MariaDB server, you must uninstall and reinstall MariaDB with the correct password. You can find downloads for me MariaDB here.
