Audience: ClassLink Administrator
Launch the ClassLink IDP Console
After you log in to the IDP Console, click on COPY EXISTING from the top of the navigation menu. This will present a list of pre-configured SAML connections.
Copy the Truenorthlogic template from the library
You will now see the Truenorthlogic SAML connector in your list of applications. Copy the IDP Metadata URL and provide that to your Truenorthlogic integration engineer. This is a unique URL for your district. Truenorthlogic will use this URL to establish a trust with ClassLink.
Update your Metadata URL
Truenorthlogic will provide you with a custom metadata URL
After Truenorthlogic creates trust, they will provide you with a custom metadata URL. Edit your Truenorthlogic SAML connection and update the metadata field.
Next, edit the Truenorthlogic SAML app, locate the Login URL field then input your LaunchPad custom login URL.
Not sure what your custom login URL is? The login page URL is located in the ClassLink Management Console under Settings>Login Page. See below.
Once you've completed updating the SAML settings, scroll down to save.
After your connection has been tested, you can deploy the link to your users.
Truenorthlogic will provide your district with a custom URL to initiate the Single Sign-On process. It will look similar to the following url.
Next, let's create the SSO app! From the ClassLink Management Console, go to Add & Assign Apps, click new. Input the name of the Performance Matters Truenorthlogic app and complete the fields. Remember to turn on Single Sign-On, select SAML as the type, then paste the url provided by Performance Matters for that app. Click Save.
