If you are running OneSync on Windows Server 2012 R2, please make sure that you have Update for Windows Server 2012 R2 (KB2999226) installed. This can be installed via windows updates or by following the above link.
Windows Server 2016 does not require the above update.
Imports have been modified to provide you with more detail about their thresholds and individual user details. When an import is run from a source and a threshold is exceeded, the source details will indicate the type of threshold and the number of users by which it is exceeded. In addition, you can now view and search through these users from the import in question via an import preview. The preview will display the users being imported, which will allow you to clarify whether or not to resume the import and bypass the threshold. In addition, import summary emails will now notify you when an import exceeds a threshold, including the type of threshold and the number of users that threshold is exceeded by.
System Notifications: Exports and Imports
OneSync now provides email notifications detailing export summaries. These notifications will detail the number of adds, edits, enables, disables for all exports that have occurred since enabling export notifications, or since the last export notification was sent. You can set how often you are notified via the summary scheduler in the settings page. If no schedule is set, the system defaults to Sunday at midnight of each week.
Note: Export notifications differ from import notifications in two important ways. The first is that that import notifications are sent immediately after an import is completed, while export notifications are sent on a schedule. The second is that import notifications report on a per import per source basis, while export notifications can summarize multiple exports for multiple destinations.
Destination List UI Updates
Changes have been made to OneSync's UI in order to simplify export settings. The Global Automatic Exports toggle has been moved to the destinations page and the manual exports will no longer be run via the Automatic Export toggles. To trigger a Manual Sync, click the dropdown to the right of the desired destination.
Resetting Admin Password via Email
A "Forgot Password" link has been added to OneSync's login page. Clicking this link will prompt you to enter the username ("admin") that you forgot the password for. An email containing a link will then be sent to your registered email.
To register your email with your username, navigate to the User Settings page by clicking the User icon in the upper right hand corner of any page, and then clicking "User Settings" in the dropdown. You can then enter your email under Account Email. Click "Save Settings" to register your email.
New Text Transformation: PREVIOUS(Field)
A new text transformation has been added to destination mappings: `PREVIOUS(Field)`. The function will return the previous value of a destination field, before the most recent sync. This function is only applicable to destination Events & Actions, and only for the specific actions Email and Execute Powershell Script.
New Relations: "Is Empty" & "Is Not Empty"
Two new relations have been added for conditionals used in destination user collections and mappings. "Is Empty" and "Is Not Empty" will process conditionals based on whether or not a field is null or not null, respectively.
Define number of digits to resolve username conflicts
You can now define the number of digits used to resolve username conflicts with. For example, adjusting this setting to 3 would output a username with a 3 digit suffix whenever there is a conflict, e.g. "Example001". To adjust this setting, navigate to the Advanced Options of the desired destination.
Change Logs for Updates
A link to the Change Logs has been added next to the "Update OneSync" button in Settings page. You can read the Change Logs to learn about the new features released with each update.
