Product: LaunchPad
Audience: ClassLink Administrator
Launch the ClassLink IDP Console
From the ClassLink Management Console, go to Single Sign-On>SML Console.
From the ClassLink IDP Console, click on COPY EXISTING from the top of the navigation menu. This will present a list of pre-configured SAML connections.
Find iReady in the list and click COPY.
Edit the SAML Attributes
Edit the SAML Attributes for your "state" using your two character state code.

Scroll down to the Attribute Mapping section and add your two-letter state abbreviation. Next, scroll down to Metadata Overrides and select NameID Value. Change this to OR:userSourcedId and click update.

Also, locate the Login URL field then input your LaunchPad custom login URL.
Not sure what your custom login URL is? The login page URL is located in the ClassLink Management Console under Settings>Login Page. See below.
Once you've completed updating the SAML settings, scroll down to save.
Establish a Trust with the Vendor
You will now see the iReady SAML connector in the main dashboard. Copy the IDP Metadata URL and provide that to your iReady solutions engineer. This is a unique URL for your district. iReady will use this URL to establish a trust with ClassLink.
Deploying the Single Sign-On URL
After your connection has been tested, you can deploy the link to your users. The Single Sign-On URL can be found by clicking on the drop down next to the metadata url for iReady. Copy the IDP Initiate Login URL.
It will look similar to the following.
https://idp.classlink.com/sso/select/ci9tVVFNTjg2Rlk9
Add the link as a web link in ClassLink, assign it to your users and you are ready to go!
