Form submission workflows are workflows that are triggered whenever a user submits a form and that utilize criteria that are dependent on form inputs. When defining the entry criterion, select "Form Submission" for Workflow Type and the specific form that you are reviewing. Subsequent criteria are defined by property/value relations. The main distinction for this workflow is that the properties include Form fields and the values include input from form submissions. The applicable relations will change based on the form input type.
This workflow type has a different set of actions from typical workflows and events & actions. These actions include:
- Add to Collection: Manually adds a user to a OneSync collection of users and based on the collection, exports that user to all applicable destinations. In other words, the user will be exported to any destination that has selected users based on that collection, regardless of whether or not automatic exports are enabled. This action is only available for forms that require authorization.
- Send Approve/Reject Email: Sends an email that allows you to either approve or reject a form submission outside of OneSync. This is the only action that supports chained actions. Subsequent actions are automatically generated for this action type and are processed based on the approval or rejection of a form submission, as indicated by the "Approve" and "Reject" branches.
- Create Account & Add to Collection: Creates a new Active Directory account for a user, manually adds the user to a OneSync collection of users, and exports that user to all applicable destinations.
