Source Data Transforms: Re-design
Data Transforms in sources has been redesigned for ease of use. You can now browse for Transform files by clicking on the "Import Transform File" button in the top right-hand corner, instead of moving the desired file to the ClassLink folder. You can also readily download transforms by clicking the "Download Transforms" button.
We have removed the "Remove Duplicates & Sort" button that was previously included in the UI. Duplicates will now automatically be removed from transforms after saving a source. Sorting can be performed on any of the three fields (OneSync Property, Initial Value, and Replacement Value) by clicking the arrow next to each field header. An up arrow will sort in ascending order and a down arrow will sort in descending order. In addition, drag & drop functionality has been added to each transform so that you can readily sort as you see fit.
Finally, the "Replace All" functionality has been modified to use asterisks instead of blanks to signify Replace All Values. Simply enter an asterisk in the desired field or click the blue "All" button in the desired transform's Initial Value. Note that this functionality is only allowed in Initial Values.
New Advanced Option for Active Directory: Truncate sAMAccountName
A new advanced option has been added to Active Directory destinations. When enabled, this option will allow you to truncate or trim sAMAccountNames to 20 characters or less. Otherwise, sAMAccountNames can have up to 64 characters. This option's default setting is disabled.
If the truncated sAMAccountName already exists inside of your destination, OneSync will attempt to increment the truncated string if the "Auto-resolve non-unique sAMAccountName conflicts?" option is enabled. The incremented sAMAccountName will also be 20 characters or less.
Source CSVs: Upload & Download
Two new features have been added to Source CSVs. You can download the current source CSV file. This will include all of the headers and data from the latest CSV file. You can also upload a new CSV file to replace a source CSV file. To upload a new CSV, it must contain the same headers that are mapped to in the original CSV. Uploading a new CSV will replace all of the old source CSV's users. These old users will be disabled in all applicable destinations.
