Teacher Console is a feature that will allow teachers to easily manage their classes and customize their app selection. It will show a list of all classes the teacher is enrolled in providing a student and app count. Teachers can access the Teacher Console by logging into LaunchPad and then launching the Teacher Console app or by navigating to teacherconsole.classlink.com.
Clicking on one of the classes will bring you into a more detailed view where you will see all the apps assigned to that class.
Apps can be launched by clicking on them or removed by hovering over them and then clicking Remove.
Clicking on Add New App will bring out the App Library which will allow you to select which apps you want to add to this class. The App Library in Teacher Console will mirror the App Library in LaunchPad giving you access to all the same apps.
Clicking on Students will show a list of all students enrolled in the class.
Additionally, clicking on the Edit button will allow you to change the icon and color for the class.
My Backpack is the improved Virtual Backpack. It will give students a place to look at all of their classes and launch apps assigned to those classes. Students can access My Backpack by logging into LaunchPad and then launching the My Backpack app or by navigating to mybackpack.classlink.com.
Similar to Teacher Console, clicking on a class will bring up a more detailed view with all available apps for that class. Students can click on an app to launch it.
