You can "merge" a secondary source with a primary CSV source. In other words, you can pull data from a secondary source to be included in the primary source's import. Secondary sources can include any of the source types: Active Directory, CSV, OneRoster, and ODBC.
Overview
Secondary Sources
To setup a Secondary Source:
1. Create or edit any source, then navigate to the Secondary Sources tab.
2. Click Add Secondary Source to open the Merge Configuration slide over. In Source Details, enter a name for the source -> select the source type -> fill out the configuration based on that source type.
3. In the next tab called Source Fields, select a key field in the primary source to a key field in the secondary source. This key will be used to identify key identical users between both sources.
Note: Data will only be pulled for users shared by both sources. These users will be identified by the selected keys.
4. Select all the fields and data that you want to pull from the secondary source by clicking the checkbox next to the desired fields.
After selecting the fields to merge within the mappings you will now be able to add these fields to the import.
In the example above there is a field called oldPassword that is being mapped to a custom field in OneSync. As you can see the merged properties will have a red icon next to the field name indicating the source that it came from.
