Audience: ClassLink Administrator
- Disable Users
- Word Hash File
- Correlation Status
- Alternate Mappings to CN (Active Directory)
- Custom Attribute Drop-downs
We've created two new Events & Actions: disable users. Disable will disable users within a selected destination which can be set within Events & Actions when editing or creating a destination. We've also exposed an event that's created with destinations automatically.
This event is called Disable Action and it disables users within the destination that are marked as disabled in OneSync. Other events can also be created to utilize the new event.
To create or edit a destination:
1. Click the Events & Actions tab on the left-hand side.
2. Add an event by clicking on the blue Add Event button located in the top right of the page.
3. under the Actions tab (after filling out the Basic Details and Conditions) there is a new Action Type called Disable User.
This action will disable a user based on the conditions set up.
Word Hash File
We've improved the functionality of Word Hash by allowing the user to upload a file (.txt or .csv) instead of having to place the file in their ClassLink Onesync folder. Navigate to OS Settings (via the drop-down in the top right corner) and within the General Settings page, a user can click Import Words (under Update Word Hash).
After clicking Import Words a user will then be prompted to select a Word Hash file from their local computer which will be uploaded into OneSync.
We've added a Correlation Status to the destinations list page which displays when a correlation has been started. After clicking Stage Users which starts a correlation, navigating to the Destinations tab will then have a Correlation Status attached to that destination.
Alternate Mappings to CN (Active Directory)
We've added a new feature which allows users to add Alternate Mappings to user's CN (this only applies to Active Directory).
When creating or editing a destination under the Default Mappings tab, click the list button (three dots and lines) next to the Name (cn).
Name (cn) Configuration slide over will come up -> click the blue plus button on the right -> now you can create an alternate mapping for your cn.
Custom Attribute Drop-downs
We've redesigned our Custom Attribute drop-down when creating a custom OneSync field in a source.
A user can create a custom OneSync field when creating or editing a source that contains:
- Single Value
- List Of Single Values
- List Of Multiple Values
After selecting a source click on the Mappings tab on the left side -> create a custom field by clicking on +Add Custom Fields under the Mappings For Imported Users section of the Mappings page.
When adding a new field the drop-down in the top right now has an updated user interface.
