A brand new feature has been added to destinations will allow a user to chain destinations together. This means that destinations will have parent destinations that they can inherit fields from.
A destination chain can be as long as a user would like for example: Destination 1 -> Destination 2 - > Destination 3 -> Destination 4 -> etc.
This means that fields that are inherited from a parent can also be used in that destinations child - in the example just mentioned, Destination 4 can use fields from Destination 1, 2, and 3 because those fields are passed down to every child destination within that chain.
When creating or editing a destination as shown in the photo above the Parent Destination can be set under the Parent Destination dropdown.
In the photo above an Active Directory, the destination has an Azure destination set as its Parent Destination which allows the Active Directory destination to use mappings that are within the Azure destination. These particular mappings are highlighted in blue above and have an "Example Azure Destination" tag next to them.
Threshold- User Interface
We've improved the import threshold feature before there was only a single button that prompted the user to choose between continuing the import or stopping it when clicked. This single button has been split up into two separate buttons - an orange play button and a red stop button.
When a threshold is exceeded a user can either continue the import by clicking the orange play button or stop the import by clicking the red stop button.
Export Summary Email Settings
We've added a new feature to the System Notification page within OS Settings which allows users to set the Export Summary Emails to only be send on failed exports. This allows a user to personalize their OneSync email notifications to either receive emails for all exports or only failed exports.
Advanced Destination Settings
A new feature has been added to the Advanced Settings page that lets the user decide whether OneSync is allowed to create OUs within a destination if they do not already exist. If the setting is enabled it will allow OneSync to create OUs.
We've added new functionality to the STRIP() function which now allows backticks to be escaped.
Another new feature that has been implemented is a Save + Do Nothing button for when a destination that has automatic exports enabled and if a change has been made to the destination. This will allow users to update their destinations and save them without having to run an export at that time.
