Audience: ClassLink Administrator
The new deeplink feature lets you launch applications directly with a URL, instead of through the My Apps page. To enable deeplink, turn the toggle found in Settings > Customizations of the ClassLink Management Console.
After turning the toggle on, enter the code of your choice in the text box below the toggle. Then, choose a login page from the dropdown list labeled Select Login Page. This will be the default page apps will lead users who have not logged in yet to. Selecting none will lead users to the generic login page.
Once you have enabled deeplink in settings, the next step is to enable deeplink for the desired apps. In the Add & Assign Apps section under Applications in the Management Console, open the Other Actions menu and select Edit Application.
Toggle Enable Deeplink on.
Enter the App Code of your choice. The app code must be verified by clicking the Verify Code button before changes can be saved. App codes must be unique, cannot contain special characters, and cannot be over 45 characters. After setting an app code, the login page that unauthenticated users will be redirected to can be set for the app. By default, it will be the login page selected in the Customizations section of Settings, but it can be changed.
With the app code set, you can copy the Deeplink URL by clicking the copy icon.
Users who launch this link will launch the associated app (if it exists on their My Apps page). If they have not logged in yet, they will be redirected to the specified login page where the app will launch after login.
